Our History
Focus on experience.
For over twenty years, Focus has been supporting schools and parents of children with behavior problems or developmental disorders such as autism. Focus Psychological-Educational Services was established in 1985 to provide developmentally based, culturally appropriate psycho-educational services in the Los Angeles area. We are a non-profit organization, licensed by the State of California to provide behavior intervention and related services to children in conjunction with schools, Regional Centers, and Head Start preschools. Focus is certified by the California Department of Education as a Non-Public Agency and vendored by the Department of Developmental Services to provide ABA-Based intervention, behavioral supervision, parent training, counseling, and other psychological support services to students with qualifying disabilities and their families. Focus is committed to providing culturally-relevant behavior management solutions, psychological, and educational services to underserved children and their communities.
